Coastal Maine Wedding of Anneke and Austin

Austin and I seek the joy by telling stories. It's how we met, it's how we've grown together & learned together. Our relationship has developed over hours on the road to early-morning shoots, switching roles in the control room when one of us is having an 'off' day, always reading each other's scripts first & always scribbling suggestions in the margins. Our first 'date' was over beers after the first shoot we ever went on together & it was those beginning nights, talking about our own narratives that we discovered how well we fit together. We owe so much of our relationship to the adventures we've been on since discovering this world of television & how we relate to it and to each other.

Ahhh, Maine. I spend most of my days trying to figure out how to spend every waking hour in that amazing state. One of the best perks of my job is that each season, I usually take about 50% of my wedding commissions in Maine and spend as much time reveling there as I can. Anneke and Austin got married in York, a quaint southern Maine town with an adorable harbor and plenty of of washed up lobster traps abandoned dinghies.

The day was a lovely celebration, culminating at the York Harbor Reading Room, a little club that Anneke spent many of her summers working. She and Austin are television producers down in NYC, no strangers to strong visual narratives, so no pressure or anything. It was a joy to be around them [and Anneke’s delightful sisters], breathing in the salt air, reveling in the music, and toasting to good people.
