Snowy Walk with Dogs :: thirty.minute.essay

Thursday, January 2, 2014

This is the first in a series of 2014 personal projects entitled thirty.minute.essay. It's a pretty basic assignment - one camera, one lens, 30 minutes. The rest is fair game. Today I took a short walk to the beach with my two pups and my crappy phone. I stepped out of the door and it was just above zero degrees and the wind was something fierce so the essay became about movement and the winter sunset in Maine. Also about trying not to get frostbite.
