Last night we had Elana and Julius's Premiere here at the :e:LOFT [well, a little bit at Flatbread, too...] I definitely enjoy getting to spend a little more time with my amazing clients outside of the shoots. I especially enjoy throwing them premieres. That is the best :]
Elana and Julius's day was truly wonderful. Things started off with the Bridal party at Hotel Marlowe - which kept getting referred to as a high class brothel - and then subsequently progressed to Powder House Square and The Elephant Walk [mmm oh hell yeah.] It was all really mellow, low key, and simply beautiful. BTW did you know that Julius was named for Groucho Marx [whose real name was Julius]? Cool fact number 47: they sent us all home with a homemade Moroccan spice rub [that may have found it's way into some salmon of mine not too long ago...] that is absolutely divine. They may have extra if you ask politely...

Ashley and Tung are two beautiful people and it was with lots and lots of joy that I went down to Richmond, VA to shoot their wedding at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. They both have such an incredible group of friends - it was really a joy to see them surrounded by so many loved ones. In attendance were Shannon and Chris [which was the first wedding I ever shot] with their two children as well as Jen and Tim [whose wedding I am shooting next weekend] and Brian [whose wedding I am the best man at in March]. All in all it was a wonderful weekend.
I also want to give a big shoutout and thanks to Naomi Meyer who orchestrated a great event and kept us boys in line and also to Matt Grazier who I dragged down to Richmond with me to shoot. It was great to see him and hang out. We don't get to hang out enough. Plus he's an rockin' shooter. Awesomesauce.
