A few Saturday's past I ventured up to the Commandant's House in Charlestown for a lovely celebration starring two consummate good Samaritans. Trips to starving countries, lending medical aid where needed... if the world was filled with more people like Alison and Adam we would all be the better for it - I wholeheartedly believe that.
The day was even paced, pious, delicate, and beautifully charming couple, surrounded by their best friends, family, and loved ones, rejoiced in the magnificent moment of beginning their family together. When the moon rose that evening it hung for a few extra moments just above the ocean and I could of sworn I heard an exasperated sigh when she realized she couldn't come join in the fun... I now, ever so humbly, present to you:

It's so nice to be around people that are just genuine and purely themselves. No pretense, no dog and pony show, nothing but pure and honest truth. Alexandra and Jonathan embody all those wonderful things and more. They were simply wonderful to spend an overcast day in Boston with...
The day started off at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and then we made our way over to the famous Old North Church [Two if by sea :]. After a wonderful little ceremony, everyone celebrated at the beautiful old Boston Public Library - which, if you haven't been inside before, is worth a trip just to marvel at the scenery. So we had a lovely day together, entertaining folks from all over the world speaking all sorts of languages I didn't even pretend to understand. Lovely people, lovely weather, lovely memories I was charged with preserving. Most humbly, I now present to you...

A little bit ago I made the drive out to Ithaca, NY along the winding back roads, farms, horse and buggies... such a wonderfully quaint area of the country. Did a little dining at Moosewood, did a little dipping in the water. Good times were had by all. The highlight of the trip, of course, was a wonderful celebration of Bridget and Brian at Cornell.
Currently split between Providence, RI and NYC these two have pretty much kept Amtrak in business while Bridget has been in residency [internship? one of those med-school things]. We shot their Together Session in Providence and I was wonderfully excited to join them in Ithaca a few months later. It's very obvious from spending time with them that they are just two peas in a music filled, sing along with the radio pod. Wonderful friends and families - Brian's dad and brother sang a beautiful number during the ceremony. All in all a merry day. A merry day, indeed. I now, very humbly, present to you...

In Ipswich a little bit ago I was fortunate to spend the day with a charming pair - Michelle and Dave. Michelle has this awesomely infections laugh and Dave has this hysterical, somewhat devious, grin - both of which were in abundance that day. The day itself was absolutely beautiful and as all the guests rolled in to Turner Hill it was evident that they both come from incredibly strong and beautiful families that welcomed me in with open arms. It's always such a treat to be there with people watching beauty unfold and the creation of a family.
You all may see some familiar faces in their story... :: Brian and Natalie [and Pappa Joe who did their flowers!] who got married on the exact same date last year :: Andy and Jackie who are awesome - Andy officiated Bri and Nat's wedding ast year and he and Jackie run my most favorite place on the planet. Andy is also this guy.
I now most humbly present to you

hi e, I'm not sure how I found you but am glad i did. your philosophy & words are emotive without the cheesy-ness. I have been inspired; I shared your site with a friend who is just beginning his photography journey as an example of being more than 'a taker of photos'. Thank you for sharing!
